Blanco and Jonesy are at the bar for their holiday special. We give Screwball egg nog a try. We make a case for restaurants to stop leaving the tails on shrimp in pasta dishes.  Jonesy has a beef with Taco Bell.  We talk about the most popular toy of the decade for the past 60 years. What were our favorite Christmas gifts as a kid. We kick off sports with the calamity of the Jets orgainzation. We give picks for the first round of the College Football Playoff. We discuss recent NIL demands. These folks are asking for a lot. We wrap it up with the Fat Four for NFL week 16.

Jonesy and Blanco are rambling at the bar again. We found a chef in Guatemala that cooks pizza using a volcano. That leads to talk about a mega volcano wiping out humanity. We give out take on the drone presence over NJ. Are the aliens coming from the ocean, maybe?  We talk about the transfer portal in sports. We discuss the Lions season ticket holder banned for his verbal altercation with members of the Packers. The Chiefs are getting healthy, does it matter? The Fat Four is still making money, go get you some.

Blanco and Jonesy are back after a short hiatus. Bar talk ensues, we talk about a recent TikTOk trend of taping your mouth to prevent snoring. We touch on the latest privacy invasion that is your smart watch. We stroll down memory lane and talk some Girls Gone Wild and the Peacock documentary. Sports is kicked off with a story about Adam Schefter. The college football playoff bracket is announced. Blanco has serious beef with Georgia. We talk Chiefs as always and run down Blanco’s Fat Four.

Drink of the day: Jaeger bomb 2 oz Jaegermeister, 4 oz Red Bull
Blanco starts the show with his fantasy football punishment. We discuss the sale of our mortgages. We weigh in on friends that expect the sole employed friend of the group to pay for dinner. That leads to a discussion of our weird ass social media algorithms. We weigh in on neighbors and if we are obligated to talk to them. Blanco thinks introverts should get a pass. Our hearts are warmed by the new holiday menu items at Red Lobster.  We take a Buzz Feed vocabulary quiz. Sports pop off with the upcoming Tyson/Paul fight. We reminisced about the golden age of Heavy Weight boxers of the 80s and 90s.

Drink of the day Captain Morgan and Dr. Pepper.
Blanco and Jonesy are back at the bar after being gone a couple of weeks. Life has been really busy for both of us. We are upset we missed our Halloween episode. We make up for it by doing a taste test of the original Big Mac vs. The Chicken Big Mac. Strange music leads off the discussion because Krizz Kalicko’s “Genius” is featured on the new Apple Intelligence issues. Jones is mad he sold out. Blanco is just waiting for his chance to grab the bag. Which leads to us remembering all the songs we have been introduced to via commercials. We also have discovered new music in Gentlemen’s clubs. Surprisingly good food can sometimes be found in strip clubs. Then we go down the rabbit hole of conspiracy theories. Sports is kicked off with the retro helmet caps released by New Era. We talk a little Herman watch and top 25.

Drink: Jack and coke
Blanco and Jones are back at the bar. We talk about the new iteration of Beetle Juice. We discuss the newly released stuffing seasoned rolls. We are intrigued and are excited to try them. It has us craving Thanksgiving. We declare canned cranberry sauce far superior to homemade. We give some love to SNL because they have been crushing it lately. Long live “Weekend Update”.  Sports is kicked off by discussing the “BTA” trend. We ask, what happened to sportsmanship.  The Chiefs continue to roll. Their achilles heal is LT but they just keep winning.

Drink of the day: Bacardi premade Rum Punch, Bahama Mama, and Pina Colada.
Blanco and Jonesy are back at the bar. This week we give our take on unsolicited lawn service from a neighbor. We talk about a Waymo ride that was way wrong. We give flowers to the Royals for making the playoffs and advancing to the ALDS. Are the Chiefs still marching toward a 3-peat? We round it out with Blanco's Fat Four.

Jonesy and Blanco are back in the bar. We talk about the entitlement of senior citizens. We give our take on hidden fees of fine dining. Harvard scientists are on the brink of a miracle drug and we need it available yesterday.  We check on Nutter Butter cookies because they are crying for help. We talk a little Royals and finish with NFL talk. Blanco went 4-0 on the Fat Four last week. Looking to repeat again this week.

Drink of the day: British Bulldog 1 oz vodka, 1 oz kahlua, 1 oz cream, top with Oreo Coke Zero.
Jonesy and Blanco are back at the bar. We discussed the robot dogs being used in war. Big brother is listening in on everything you say around smart devices. Puffy just needs to take the L and head to jail. A Chicago brewery decided it was a good idea to make Marlot even worse. We also chat about sports, mostly Chiefs. 

Episode 061 NFL preview

Drink of the day: Casa Azul Tequila Soda; Peach mango,  Watermelon, Strawberry Margarita, Margarita. Tom’s Town Elderflower lime gin cocktail. Garage Beer. 
Football is back! Jonesy and Blanco are joined by GT to preview the 2024 NFL season. Just a couple guys sitting at the bar talking football. We give our picks to win each division. We also give out post season predictions.  There were a few friendly wagers placed. Blanco has some bold predictions which is par for the course. Enjoy the show.
